BREAKING – Bob Griese suspended for “taco” comments

This just in – Bob Griese has been suspended by ESPN/ABC following his insensitive remarks regarding Juan Pablo Montoya last weekend.  The remarks he made, and the sloppy, awkward apology can be seen/heard below;

The Buckeye Battle Cry applauds ESPN/ABC for suspending Griese. But not because he made insensitive comments about Montoya. We’d prefer they suspend him because he’s a shitty color commentator and a general douchebag.

But we’ll take it.

    I nearly did an entire piece on Griese’s horrible commentary after last year’s Michigan game, instead opting to just use a few of his awful comments.

    I should have started a movement to remove him back then, but it looks like he took care of himself finally.

    I’ve disliked Griese’s work for years, but I suffer it happily now that he’s working with Spielman. I think it’d be great if they did The Game.
