This week we take a look back at last week’s action, and a preview to the coming weeks games, with particular emphasis on future Buckeyes.

Week Two Recaps- winners highlighted

Division I

• Glenville vs. Lakewood St. Eds

I was wrong on the game of the week, but I did get a chance to take a look at some future buckeyes on STO.  Once again Glenville loses a playoff game that they were favored in.  Kyle Kalis looked great for St. Eds.  big time early pickup for us in the 2012 class.  Future All-Big 10.  May want to think about even higher than like that maybe future all-American here.  Glenville prospects didn’t show that well.  Jones looked lost at time at QB, Wynn looked tough, but can he take a pounding in college?  Walker, has the size, will be a project here.  De’Van Bogard looks very good though, and I think could see a Signing day offer for the 2012 class.

• Toledo Whitmer vs. Twinsburg

Kenny Hayes keeps Whitmer playing.

• Huber Heights Wayne vs. Centerville

This was the game of the week.  A 2OT Thriller, which saw Braxton Miller running the game winner in on a QB Sneak.  He went 14-23 for 223 yds 2tds, and had 80 yds on the ground for 2 more tds.  Michael Bennett saw his high school career come to an end. 

• Cincinnati Colerain vs. St. X

Another favored team dropping a game.

• Pickerington Central vs. Westerville South

Another dominating defensive performance by Pick Central. 30-0.

Division II

• Trotwood vs. Cincinnati Winton Woods

• Warren Howland vs. Mentor Lake Catholic

Was on STO but I missed the game.

Division III

• ASVSM vs. Youngstown Cardinal Mooney

Mooney won on a last minute pick 6, in heartbreaking fashion for Doran Grant in his final high school game.

Future Buckeye?

• Akron Buchtel vs. Parma Padua Franciscan

Corey Smith with another big game.  Had a 21 yd td catch and 5 catches for 91 yds

• Alliance Marlington vs. Newark Licking Valley

Dymonte Thomas had 14 carries for 250 yds and 420 total rushing yds behind Zach Higgins

Week Three Preview

Division I - All Games will be played Saturday night

• Lakewood St. Eds – Kyle Kalis (2012 Commit) vs. Solon (Parma Byers Field)
• Toledo Whitmer – Kenny Hayes (2011 Commit), Chris Wormley (2012 target) vs. Toledo St. John’s (Bowling Green Stadium)
• Huber Heights Wayne - Braxton Miller (2011 Commit) vs. St. Xavier (Dayton Welcome Stadium)
• Pickerington Central – Jacoby Boren (2012 target) vs. Hillard Davidson (Upper Arlington Stadium)

Division II - All games will be played Friday night

• Trotwood – Bam Bradley (2012 Target) vs. Kings Mills Kings (Princeton High School)

Division III – All games will be played Saturday night

• Akron Buchtel – Corey Smith (2012 Target) vs. Youngstown Cardinal Mooney (Raveena High School)
• Alliance Marlington – Zach Higgins (2012 Target), Dymonte Thomas (2013 Target) vs. Dover (Canton Fawcett Stadium)

Division V – All games will be played Saturday night

• Youngstown Ursuline –  Akise Teague (2011 Target) vs. Kirtland (Aurora HS Stadium)
