Lewis the Tiger

On this second day of fall practice, Pickerington Central’s Roger Lewis has given his verbal commitment to become the 12th member of the 2012 Ohio State recruiting class!

A receiver who was the MVP of the Ohio State camp in June, Lewis is a 6’1″ 195 pound athlete who has been timed with a 4.4 second 40 yard dash.  Roger held offers from Arizona, Cincinnati and West Virginia, and most of the MAC, and was hearing from Michigan State and Oregon.

There was speculation that he would commit to Ohio State last week during his visit to Columbus, but wasn’t able to connect with coach Fickell and wanted to wait to meet with him before making it official. In the meantime, though, he was in regular contact with Coach Drayton.

Highlights and so forth after the jump-

Welcome to the Buckeye Family, Roger!!
