The thing I find amazing is how many 2013 and 2014 recruits are in or were damn close to the State Title game in their respected Divisions across the US (both commits and ones with high interest) and not just in Ohio…it’s amazing. Not mention Urban will bring in talent that was difficult for Tress to lure to OSU. It’s going to be a great time to be a Buckeye fan for the next ten or so years. That you can guarantee;-)

I think this must have been a very successful recruiting trip. They got to see a lot of what OSU has to offer. Our best linebacker unit performing solidly, with two spots opening up. How our D-line and O-line pushes the line, even with backups like freshman Washington filling in for senior star Simon and still dominating. They got to see a little high flying offense, and also how we pound the ball at will. Most importantly was the atmosphere. I can only imagine what it was like, and the crowd storming the field. That stadium was a family, and who wouldn’t want to be a part of it.

What this game did show, was that the two towers are back. Whether or not they it shows results in new recruities is a wait and see. Though the hard hitting and smack talk has returned.

I believe with the dire needs at WR and LB position will draw some good players into scarlet and Gray. Yet, I doubt it will be until Urban puts a second year of victories will bring in the recruites he wants.
