Mike, to be honest, I haven't followed the recruiting enough to make any comparisons. If you're even remotely close with these, this is a very nice class, indeed. Thanks for your thoughts on this.

from what i've seen bosa, baugh, bell, lewis, apple, johnson, clark, worley, price, marshall and mitchell all look like 5 star recruits - these so called "scouting websites" are a complete joke.

1. bosa (jj watt)
2. bell (rod woodson)
3. apple (antoine winfield)
4. baugh (jermichael finley)
5. lewis (robert quinn)
-----------
6. clark (mike wallace)
7. worley (brian dawkins)
8. johnson (derrick brooks)
-----------
9. price (john simon)
10. marshall (percy harvin)
11. mitchell (katzenmoyer when he gets to 250 - he'll get there quick)
12. burroughs <- deion sanders said burroughs was flat out amazing. so although i didn't see it on film, i'll take his word for it.

everyone else is a 4 star recruit except for sprinkle (a 3 star imo)

+elliot looks like the real deal if he can get his pads low and pump his feet between the tackles, a 5 star then. and when running, he looks a little bit like o.j. simpson.

+smith is an amazing route runner and quick off the line.

+wilson is really small but looks like he could be awesome. after thinking about it awhile, i liked cornelius elder a little better

anyone agree or disagree??

Uh-huh, I don't blame you Mali. My wife & I saw that and commented that 'Surely/Shirley that can't be Boyd Crowder!'. Indeed it was.

So, now you know what we deem as quality entertainment in our household.

Biggest impact- there are about 15 possible correct answers here and that is a nice problem to have.

Playing time- rather than go with a specific player I'll just go by position: all of the receivers are candidates to play, probably a few in the d-line rotation, Mitchell and Johnson at LB almost certainly, and the DBs will be hard pressed to find time in the secondary but they certainly have the talent to make a push.

Guy that got away- Jaylon Smith (LB), Mike Heuerman (TE), Derrick Green (RB), James Quick (WR), about 10 offensive tackles.

Fan favorite- I like everyone's choices: Munger, Thompson, Lee, Price, Houston and Gardner are all good choices. You could basically pick any of the underrated/less hyped players here. Another good problem to have.

Surprises- going 3/3 on signing day was certainly a pleasant surprise. I have a lot of confidence in this staff and their ability to recruit but it is still hard to get over the Tressel years and signing day disappointment. A few more years like this and I might just get over it, though.
