Ohio State University

The Buckeyes are coming off a disappointing loss to Cincinnati on Sunday afternoon. Despite mediocre shooting and rebounding, tenacious defense kept the Buckeyes in the game until fouling provided the scoring margin for the Bearcats. Ohio State is currently averaging 65 points per game on offense and allowing 64 on defense. The team is going through a period of sporadic bouts of poor to mediocre shooting, but is offsetting these lapses with tenacious defense and a “never give up” attitude.

Wrap-Up

It’s a good thing that OSU plays tenacious defense, because the Buckeyes will need it against the Skyhawks’ back-court. There isn’t any discrepancy in height between the two teams, so that is not an issue. Ohio State needs to dampen the offense of UT-Martin’s guards and keep their forwards off the board.

The game is Tuesday December 17th at 7:00 PM EST in Value City Arena. IF you can’t make it to the game, it can be heard on radio 1460 AM.
