Two weeks ago, the staff here at The Buckeye Battle Cry expanded by one new writer. Well, not necessarily NEW, but it’s one more writer than there was in 2013.

My name is Jeff, and I founded this website back in 2006. I’ll be rejoining the gang here for a weekly article (probably more than that over time. Baby steps to the elevator, baby steps to the door.)

This morning, my duty was to write an article – my choice. For some reason, they treat me well. They allow me to write whatever I choose.

But therein lies the problem I face as I put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard, whatever).

You see, I couldn’t find a topic to write about this week. The people I brought in to run this website (and the people who they brought on to add further growth) have done such an amazing job that I cannot find a subject that they do not have under control.

When I began this website, it was strictly about football and basketball. I didn’t cover wrestling or women’s basketball, barely touched recruiting, only mentioned TBDBITL on occasion. All of those are now staples of tBBC experience.

It’s been nearly four years since I last roamed the proverbial sidelines here at tBBC, and every day I am impressed with how far this site has come.

So for today, allow me to pay tribute to the men and women that run The Buckeye Battle Cry. They are the ones that bring you amazing coverage of The Ohio State University. I’m just lucky to have them around. Thanks for having me back.

Enjoy, and Go Bucks!

Jeff, it’s good to see you roaming the hallways at tBBC World HQ. When Mali & Eric asked us to tidy up your old office, we suspected something was up.

He’s not getting his basement back, no matter how much he asks. Where else am I going to perform my evil world ending experiments?
