The Ohio State Buckeyes (12-9, 2-3) make the return trip to Ann Arbor to face the Wolverines. These teams met a couple weeks ago in Columbus, and TTUN got the better of the Buckeyes, 64-49. The loss was key by some pretty horrendous rebounding, outrebounded 48-33, and even worse shooting. We’ll see if Coach McGuff has been able to get his team back on track for this game. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM EST Thursday at the Crisler Center.

TTUN used a 3G/1F/1C lineup, and it seemed to work. They do score aplenty (75 PPG) and have four players’ average double figures: guard Shannon Smith (5’7”, 15.1ppg), guard Siera Thompson (5’7”, 13.7ppg), forward Cyesha Goree (6’3”, 12.8ppg) and guard Nicole Elmblad (5’11”, 12.7ppg). Ohio State University Buckeyes
The Buckeyes lost a tough game against Iowa on Sunday. After getting blitzed in the 1st half, Ohio State mounted a nice 2nd half rally, and actually outplayed the Hawkeyes for the final 20 minutes. Well, 30 minutes, since they did close the gap after the first 10 minutes. We’ll see if they can maintain their rebounding, shooting and defense to pull off the win in Ann Arbor.
And, here are your Ohio State Buckeyes:
This is very simple. Ohio State needs to be aggressive on the boards and to find a way to neutralize UM’s strong guard play. OSU did create 19 turnovers last time, to the ball can be pressured.
