Here’s their Profile
University of Wisconsin
Wisconsin is currently on a 4-game losing streak and at this point in the season are at a similar point as they were last year (12-19) and a bit better than the previous season (9-20), so it appears that Coach Kelsey is making some progress in Madison.
Wisconsin uses a 3G/2F lineup, with Morgan Paige (5’9”), Taylor Wurtz (6’0”) and Dakota Whyte (5’8”) at the guards and the forwards are Michala Johnson (6’3”) and Jacki Gulczynski (6’1”) at forward.. First player off the bench is 5’10” guard Nicole Bauman (5.9 ppg).

Ohio State University Buckeyes
This Buckeye team is interesting. Ohio State is coming off a win against Illinois where they had their 3rd highest offensive output (90 points) and their largest margin of victory (26 points). But, as with any team in transition, there are some inconsistencies in play and results. Just when the Buckeyes have a good game and you think they’ve turned the corner, there is another corner ahead of us. It’s a maze, and the fun part is watching the Buckeyes navigate it.

Not sure what to think of this game. I think that OSU has the talent to win this one, but it is in Madison, so it’s a bit more of a challenge. The defensive challenge for Ohio State is to contain forward Michala Johnson (16.1 ppg, 7.4 rpg) and guard Taylor Wurtz (11.7 ppg, 7.6 rpg). Since Johnson has not taken a 3-point shot this season, this is a better match up for OSU’s Adams/Moore. Tune in Sunday to find out.
