Eric and Jim get together to discuss the upcoming game between Ohio State and Michigan State, and reminisce about the Colorado game. They talk about the development of quarterback Braxton Miller, and the superb play of Jordan Hall in all phases of the game. They also mention the ever important Nate Ebner missile and what he means to the kick coverage. Finally, they spend plenty of time talking about Michigan State and their excellent quarterback, Kirk Cousins.
Joining Eric this week for the opponent’s interview is Joe Rexrode of the Lansing State Journal, the local newspaper for the state capital of Michigan. They talk plenty of MSU football, including the issues for the MSU offensive line.

Eric, Jim and JoeD are back together again for another Radio Hour! This week, we look at the matchup with Colorado, though we likely spend far too long talking about what the team needs to do to bounce back than actually talking about the Buffaloes. Jim and Joe have plenty of thoughts to share about the Buckeyes, and about Fickell as well.
For this week’s interview, we invited Bob Bell, editor of the Ralphie Report, SB Nation’s Colorado blog. We talk about their recent move to the PAC-12, and how good of a decision that is turning out to be with the current Big 12 uncertainty. We also look at their new coach, Jon Embree, and look investigate the workings of the Buffaloes offense and defense.

The three breakdown the entire 27-22 battle between the Ohio State Buckeyes and their in-state brethren to the north, the Toledo Rockets. In particular, they talk about the excellence in the secondary for both teams, all of the good things to take from the game, and why exactly we didn’t see Braxton Miller enter the game.

They also talk about the younger players getting a chance to play and shine on the field, and Jake Stoneburner’s new place in the Ohio State Recordbooks.
