Are we at the cool kids table?
Last week, SBNation and the Buckeye Battle Cry launched a new feature that provided us with a greater connection to our Facebook friends. Now, you're able to use your FB account to comment here at The BBC, republish articles to your wall, share photos, fanposts, etc etc etc. Basically, the two pages work together on a pretty cool level.
For more on the new feature, click here for our initial announcement.
Since that announcement three days ago, we've more than doubled our total number of Facebook friends (we went from 350 to 785, and it's growing by the minute). For our new FB friends, we'd like to welcome you and introduce you to what The Buckeye Battle Cry is all about.
The Buckeye Battle Cry is 100 percent dedicated to Ohio State sports, and we cover the Bucks like nobody else can. We know you'll enjoy what you find on our site, so be sure to stop by every day. We're constantly updating and adding Ohio State news as it happens. Among our features;
- Write your own articles in our Fan Posts section
- Game Day open threads for every Ohio State game
- The fastest game reviews in the biz
- Intense in-depth looks at every position on the football team, complete with updates as the season progresses
- Former Buckeye CB Rob Harley's "Harley In The Huddle", and his weekly classroom feature "tBBC Film Room"
- Silver Bullet-points
- Play Of The Week videos
- The Week That Were
- Game From Obscurity
The list goes on and on, and I know I've left out a lot of our most popular features...but as you newbies continue to check out the site, you'll get to know all about us, and we hope you'll love tBBC as much as we do.
Stick around, and have some fun. Feel free to comment or write by using your Facebook log-in information. And NO, we do not have access to your FB info...that stays with the evil overlords who run that site. We merely integrated our site with theirs so you can log in easier. Rest easy.
Thanks for stopping by, and invite your friends (both Facebook and real-life flesh and blood ones)

New Feature - Facebook Connent on The Buckeye Battle Cry
We love rolling out features. Today we've made it easier for Facebook users to signup for The BBC and SB Nation and to participate in every one of SBN's fan communities. For existing SB Nation members, Connect allows you to login with your Facebook account. Keeping track of different passwords is a hassle, yes? You're a discriminating sporting connoisseur, and your time is valuable.
Connect makes it easier to share what you write on SB Nation with friends on Facebook, whether you're publishing a FanPost, a FanShot or a comment. You decide what you share. And your Facebook info stays over on Facebook.
Often your posts deserve to be seen by friends who aren't yet the sort to dive into sports blogs. Or by your grandmother, who just set up a Facebook profile, and added you. Are you going to ignore her forever? In any case, this step-by-step guide should get you Facebook Connected. It's easy.
Jump below the fold to learn how to connect your Facebook account with your Buckeye Battle Cry experiences;

Beat Michigan!!!
Aren't we jumping the gun just a little bit? Yeah, maybe. But there's a reason behind it. You'll see.
By now you've probably noticed that we opened up our own T-shirt store, If not, click the link or check down either margin of this page. We want to present a couple new additions to the store, just in time for the February 27th showdown at the Schott.
To your right, you'll find your classic scarlet-colored shirt, emblazoned with the one thing that Ohio State athletics does frequently. You can find it in short-sleeve T, long-sleeve T, sweatshirt, or even in a hoodie.
To the left, you'll find an original design, which pretty much describes the shape of the world as we see it.
Michigan may be above us geographically, but they're still beneath us in everything else. Now you can properly express that belief, on television when you're at the game on February 27th.
You know you want to....Michigan fans will be watching. It'll be awesome.
To the left, our original design that helped launch the store. Make Michigan our Bitch-again. Really, that's all you need to say.
Finally, to the right again, you will find our first-ever Buckeye Battle Cry-approved hat. And yes, that's a Nike Swoosh on it. We totally have the legal authority to put it there, too. We know people who know people, who know how to put the swoosh on hats.
So there you have it. Some cool gear for you to wear to the Michigan game on February 27th. Allow 5-7 days for delivery, so grab one of these puppies soon (now do you see why we jumped the gun on calling out "Beat Michigan???)
Prices are as low as $13.99, and there is no sales tax on any items. See you at the game, Buckeyes!

The BBC launches our own online store!
For the past several months, the guys and I have been trying to set up our own online store, but we just couldn't find the best outlet for it. None of the "create and sell your own shirts here" sites felt right, so we just kept putting it on the back burner.
Not any more! Thanks to a new partnership between SB Nation and ProSportsBlogs, we are now officially launching our own online store!
We'll be releasing more designs soon, but we've got nine different shirts for sale right now. We do offer mens, ladies and kid sizes, plus we have long-sleeve shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies. Go take a look at the designs, and let us know what you think!
Here's a few of our favorites, for starters....
Yes, we know we're arrogant about our Big Ten ownership. Five straight titles does that to a fanbase.

The BBC welcomes a new contributor - Rob Harley
Please turn your game program to page 34....
The BBC is proud to announce our newest writer, Rob Harley. If the name sounds familiar, it should.
Rob played defensive back for the Buckeyes from 2001-2005, and is currently a college football analyst for the Columbus affiliate of ABC Sports. He's been running a great blog called "Harley In The Huddle", and brings a tremendous amount of insight to tBBC.
He's the only member of the staff that has played for a National Championship team, so he's automatically cooler than us.
And as if that weren't enough, he's got the blood of Chic Harley running through his veins.
Please join all of us here at tBBC and give a warm welcome to #34, Rob Harley!
