• Mmmmm… Pancakes. Ken broke the news yesterday, but here’s the official word on the best offensive lineman to ever play the game’s induction into the College Football Hall Of Fame. Men’s Ice Hockey

Let’s get started with some really good news. On Friday, it was announced that goalie  Brady Hjelle was named 1st Team All-American. In all, 25 players were named to the All-America squads as selected by members of the American Hockey Coaches association on Friday. Hjelle was named the first-team goalie on the west squad and was one of five CCHA players selected in the conference’s final season.

Hjelle, a native of International Falls, Minn., is the first Buckeye to earn a spot on the first team since 1998 and the third first-team selection in program history. His award marks the eighth time an

It’d be easy to say that this week was “spook-tacular”, and “scary” for a lot of top teams, but that would be way to easy. So, let’s just admit that Saturday once again proved that we’re fans of the greatest sport in the world; because anything can happen once the ball is kicked.

Ain’t chaos beautiful?  While the end result may be less than desirable, you’ve got to be amazed at the ways that each week is different, each week has the possibility for the unexpected and amazing.  And this week was proof positive that the football gods have both a sense of humor AND a mischievous side.

• Injury Update- Nathan Williams is still out, and Adam Homan had surgery this week. Andrew Sweat is banged up, but expected to play, but there’s no official word on Philly Brown at this time.
• Fickell Speaks- If you’re a fan of discussing time outs and so forth, you’d have loved today’s press conference. The long and short of it- He wished he would have called a time out prior to Miami doing so late in the fourth, but was also thinking that the offense would need at least two if they were going to make a comeback from being down two scores.
