Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC–James) has announced the recipients of the 14^th Annual Stefanie’s Champions awards who will be honored at the Stefanie’s Champions awards luncheon on April 10, 12:00pm, in the Archie M. Griffin Grand Ballroom of The Ohio Union. The Event chairperson is Chris Spielman and the Honorary Chairs are Urban Meyer and Shelley Meyer.

• Injury update: Braxton practiced, and by all reports looked “fine”, although he took it easy after the initial burst. Coaches will continue to monitor, but according to the depth chart, he’s the starter. Not as good news for Nathan Williams, who will need another surgery for microfracture issues and will miss the season. HOWEVER- there is the possibility that he can take a medical redshirt and be back for 2012. *crossesfingers*

NCAA InVESTigation

• According to several sources, folks from the University and the NCAA team met individually with the players named in the SI report today.
• Additionally, according to 97.1, the NCAA will also meet with Dohrmann’s source, “Ellis”. Speculation abounds as to the important aspect of their conversation.

Speculation is that the investigation continues to center on current Buckeye QB Terrelle Pryor; particularly his usage of various automobiles from local vendors.  NBC4 is also reporting that Pryor is currently driving on a suspended license.

Given that the University began looking into arrangements with auto dealers several weeks ago, it would not be surprising that their discoveries, combined with the SI article, have led to this current exploration of the automotive situation. I wasn’t sure which group I should go back and look at first, or when I should go back and re-evaluate each position, but I figure after three games we are starting to get a pretty solid idea of what we have at most positions this year, so what better time than now?
