Recruiting for the 2015 class is becoming another sequel in “The Fast and The Furious” chain. In my honest opinion, I could see Ohio State at 10-12 commits by the end of July and still be in on the other announcements later down the road.
Here is how I see it playing out:
Most of us who aren’t recruiting junkies probably couldn’t name the six members of Ohio State’s 2015 recruiting class, as few as that might currently be.
So thinking about 2016 is even more of a stretch… but it’s time to start getting limbered up, as the Buckeyes have picked up their first verbal from a rising Junior, Hubbard’s George Hill.
As a sophomore, Hill managed almost 1200 yards and 15 touchdowns on just one hundred carries- not too shabby, when you remember that he shares the backfield with Buckeye 2015 target LJ Scott. Having both in Columbus as teammates again would not be a horrible thing for Ohio State… and would definitely be a nightmare for the opposition.
Hill is described by most as a running back/receiver hybrid, similar to Curtis Samuel or Dontre Wilson. A four star by most recruiting services, the 6′ 180 pound junior to be was targeted by Michigan State, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Cincinnati; but chose the school that he had liked since he was a child.
Hill visited Ohio State three times before today’s decision, but has been on the coaches’ radar for quite some time. After the jump, you can see what he’ll bring to the table: Read More
