Recruiting for the 2015 class is becoming another sequel in “The Fast and The Furious” chain. In my honest opinion, I could see Ohio State at 10-12 commits by the end of July and still be in on the other announcements later down the road.

Another day, another verbal, as Ohio State’s Camp Season continues to reap benefits.
Today, 6’6″, 285 pound Grant Schmidt became the fifth member of the “Elite ’15″ class for Ohio State, giving the Buckeyes his verbal following an excellent showing at yesterday’s skills camp.
Schmidt, from Roosevelt High in Sioux Falls, South Dakota was timed at a 4.9 40 yard dash earlier at the year… that’s moving, for a player projected to be an offensive tackle.
The Buckeyes were but one offer that the four star Schmidt held; he also received interest from Minnesota, Cincinnati, Iowa State, North Carolina, and Washington State. He is the first Buckeye to hail from The Mount Rushmore State.
According to our friend Jeremy Birmingham, Schmidt tested at a 4.7 agility and with a 29 inch vertical during camp on Sunday, enough to impress the coaching staff and have an offer extended. Today’s tour of the campus and academic support conversations with his parents were all that was necessary to seal the deal for the Buckeyes’ latest commitment.
After the jump, you can check out the highlight package leading into his senior year… pretty nice footwork, if you ask me: Read More
