After a momentous day for Buckeye football, and after a few frosty beverages, here’s the staff’s reflections on the epic 2013 recruiting class!

Who’s the player on offense/defense who will make the biggest impact during his career at OSU?

Ken: Mike Mitchell. I think he has potential to have a Spielman/Katzenmoyer type career at OSU

WVa: Offense: I am going to go with one that has been in the fold for a good bit. Jalin Marshall is the guy I see coming in right away and contributing and will have a great career in Scarlet and Gray.

Defense: Tracy Sprinkle is my guy here. He looks to me to be the perfect fit to take over where Nathan Williams left off and really reminds me of my favorite Buckeye to come out of WV Darrion Scott. Good size and plays low and will show early what he has in that … [Read More]

Well, here we are, at the second biggest shopping day of the holiday and fiscal season. It’s kind of sad, really- all those unwanted or mis- purchased gifts being dragged back to the mall, where “Good Will To Men” is certainly in short supply.

That being said… how hard is it to follow a list? And what part of “bullets” looks like “marbles”… grumble grumble grumble. Given what’s in the theaters beginning yesterday, you’ve got two choices for today’s soundtrack.

Joey Bosa Is A Buckeye!!!

Ohio State’s work during their big recruiting weekend continues to roll, as they add the twelfth member of the 2013 class, defensive lineman Joey Bosa from Fort Lauderdale’s St. Thomas Aquinas High School.

Bosa, a four/five star athlete that’s ranked in the top 30 nationally by the major scouting services, is currently plays strong-side defensive end (think John Simon) for STA. The junior is listed as 6’5″ and at 260 pounds, and has amazing Buckeye ties- he’s the nephew of former Ohio State linebacker Eric Kumerow.

Bosa is another OSU verbal with an incredible laundry list of offers from BCS schools, including Alabama, the Big Three schools in Florida, Tennessee, Michigan State, Wisconsin, and Auburn; he made visits to Madison and Ann Arbor last weekend when he also came by Columbus.
