William Buford and Jared Sullinger led all scorers with 24 points, and each added 7 rebounds to their statline. DeShaun Thomas added 12 points for the Buckeyes while Lenzelle Smith picked up 7 points and 8 rebounds. Minnesota’s scoring was led by Rodney William’s 19 to which Julian Welch added 11 and 8 assists.

Coming off a tough home loss to the Michigan State Spartans, the Buckeyes were looking to try to get back on track in the Big Ten.
