Luke Roberts is a Buckeye!

The decision was easy

Today, Ohio State welcomed the tenth member of the 2012 recruiting class, when Lancaster’s Luke Roberts verbally committed to play for the Buckeyes!

Listed at 6’2″ and 225 pounds, Luke also held offers from Arizona, Purdue, Indiana, Wake Forest, and Cincinnati, but chose the Buckeyes over his father’s alma mater in Arizona.

As you may remember, Lancaster was also home to Buckeye linebacker Bobby Carpenter- you’ve got to wonder if Monday’s staffing announcement had anything to do with Luke’s decision.

Luke is an honor student at Lancaster, and was expected to make his decision early in the process.  I guess you could say he accomplished this mission.
