Forcier experience the joy of two consecutive beatings from the Buckeyes, it’s really a shame that he won’t be eligible for the match up this fall.

Between he and Jacory, we’ll see passing records broken, I’m sure. Particularly in the “look, the guy with the other jersey caught the ball” category.

Things like the rumor that our favorite back up quarterback is not enrolled in classes this semester, which might be the harbinger to the transfer that we’ve been hearing about for a while.

Again, these are just whispers in the wind at this point, but with speculation that Denard Robinson might also be transferring due to the new coaching philosophy, it certainly would put Coach Hoke in a deep hole to start his administration.

Although, it could also be that Tate has decided to avoid any possibility of future suspensions for grade related issues by forgoing classes all together.  Savvy, that.

This is the sixth oldest bowl game, and has been played every year since 1946. For Buckeye fans, it’s pretty forgettable.  The mission of the Gator Bowl Association is to “provide Northeast Florida with the very best in college athletics and related activities in order to maximize positive impact on the area’s economy, national image and community pride”, and they have a president who’s one of the few honest members of bowl committees across the country, saying they don’t care about football, only about money.

Not a good Saturday around the old Casa Del Mali, which started when Nebraska found out that the option doesn’t work against a defense with speed. This would normally be the part where I pointed out that having a freshman quarterback as your starter is never a good idea, but I really like not sleeping on the couch. What was particularly surprising was the successes that the Longhorns had against the Blackshirts- and this is a rebuilding year for Mack Brown’s team.

The missus was able to keep her sense of humor throughout, though, commenting that she wished that there were three more Acho brothers playing so there could be Acho Cinco. “All you need to know is I’m out.” – Tate Forcier

Less than a minute had passed since the Michigan football team beat Connecticut, 30-10, in the season opener and sophomore quarterback Tate Forcier appeared to make his decision.

Through his words and his body language, he had no interest in remaining at Michigan. When asked if he had a minute, he responded with those eight words.

While it’s not sure what this might mean, given the earlier speculation, the frustrations about his participation and leadership during the offseason, his potential academic issues, and other factors it may not be long before we see last year’s “QB savior” on another team’s sidelines.
