If the pundits and voters would only listen to us, they’d understand that the B1G is due some respect.
With three teams in the latest tBBC Top Ten, the Legendary Leaders put one more than the ACC, PAC, B12, and SEC.
(Not that we’re biased or anything)
|Pos.||Team (1st Votes)||LW|
|1||Florida State (5)||1|
|3||Ohio State (1)||3|
The biggest mover is the Oklahoma State Cowboys, who leap up to the eight spot right before they host Baylor on Saturday. Mike Gundy’s team worked Texas over on Saturday in preparation of facing the undefeated Bears.
Wisconsin also joins the Top 1o for the first time this season, tied with their two loss brothers who forgot to play Stanford Football again on Saturday.
Missouri and South Carolina also received votes this week.

The second poll of the year is in and Oregon keeps the top spot at tBBC. Oregon came in at number one with the same number of first place votes (6) as last week.
The voters changed their first place votes a tad (after a lot of back lash for OSU receiving 1 first place vote) with Alabama receiving the other 4 first place votes.
Oklahoma makes its first appearance of the year in the top ten, replacing LSU after the Tigers escaped with a victory against MSU.
Pos Team (1st place votes) LW
Dropping Out – LSU
Others receiving votes – LSU, Florida, UCLA
LSU narrowly dropped out of the top 10 and could jump back in if Oklahoma can’t take care of Texas this week. Florida State makes the biggest jump in the polls after a dominating performance against Maryland.
Stop back next week and see who the movers and shakers will be!
As week 5 ends and the B1G schedule began with a win for the Buckeyes, we present you with our first The Buckeye Battle Cry top ten poll. We’re firm believers that you don’t really know anything about a team until October, so here we go.
Stop back each Tuesday to see who tops our experts lists and who’s moved up and who’s dropped out. The number of first place votes are in parenthesis.
Others receiving votes: Oklahoma, Washington, UCLA
Oregon tops our first poll with a strong 6 first place votes although some will argue that the Ducks have yet to face a tough opponent.
Alabama and Ohio State both received first place votes. The Tide’s offense has been less than impressive but have wins over Virginia Tech, Ole Miss, but put points on the board in bunches against Texas A&M.
The Bucks are coming off of their best win of the season over Wisconsin, and will face another tough task as they travel to Northwestern for an 8pm showdown Saturday night.
Let the record show, Alabama plays Georgia State- Just saying for those schedule haters of the Bucks’ opposition thus far.
Clemson and Stanford filled out the top 5 as both the Tigers and Cardinal have impressive wins over Georgia and Arizona St respectively.
Check back next week to see episode two of The Buckeye Battle Cry’s top 10!
